A delightful combination of music, film and nostalgia...

click to go to Isla St Clair's websiteCombining live performance and film footage, singer and television personality Isla St Clair presents this delightfully nostalgic, poignant and humorous selection of songs which range from Napoleonic times, through to the popular hits that were born out of two World Wars and the 1960's.

Joining Isla is film-maker Patrick King, who gives a fascinating and humourous "behind-the-scenes" look at the making of their award-winning documentary films. Using clips, they illustrate how songs and music played an important part in people's daily lives: for propaganda, or for just reminding people of better times during some of the darkest days of our history.

This rich mix of song, film and funny out-takes, including hilarious moments filming Prince Charles and inside 10 Downing Street, makes for a light-hearted family show that is both informative and wonderfully entertaining.
