Fulbourn Health Centre news - November '11

We are on schedule for our computer switchover towards the end of November.
We will be running a limited service for a few days and ask our patients to bear with us during this time. Please be assured that any urgent matters and emergencies will be dealt with promptly as always.
It will be difficult to deal with large volumes of prescription requests during this period, so we ask that if you normally order your prescription between Wednesday 16th November and Friday 25th November that we have your request by
Friday 11th November.

In addition, we will be closed at lunchtimes from 12:30pm-2:30pm from
Thursday 10th November – Wednesday 23rd November to enable all staff at the Practice to be fully trained on the new system. Urgent Care Cambridgeshire will provide emergency cover during this time on 0330 123 9131.

We will all need time to familiarise ourselves with a new way of working and once the system is fully established we will be able to introduce an enhanced range of services for our patients in the New Year.
Watch this space!

Our Patient Participation Group will be hosting an Open Evening at the Health Centre on the evening of Thursday 8th December at 6:30pm. Please put the date in you diary and join us for a cup of (non alcoholic) fruit punch. The PPG would like to reach a much wider audience and is keen to ensure that all our patients are represented. This is an opportunity for you to make your views known.
